Zaxcom is pleased to announce the all-new VRX1 VHF IFB audio receiver designed to control audio in film & TV environments. It features intuitive voice prompting, voting, frame-specific audio delay, adaptive squelch, headphone equalization and multiple power options, all in a lightweight, robust and easy-to-use device.

The VRX1 operates in the VHF 192-217 MHz frequency range and is pre-programmed with 10 standard channels. The unit is compatible with Comtek BST 75-216, BST 25-216 and M-216 transmitters, enabling you to combine the VRX1 with other IFB receivers in your installation.

Other features include customizable audio delay settings for each user, from 1 to 15 frames, and an adaptive squelch algorithm that intelligently minimizes noise when a transmitter's signal is absent or weak.

Zaxcom also offers a dual VRX charger that can charge two VRX1s.

The VRX1 features an innovative direct conversion design for audio reception that reduces all forms of RF interference while extending battery life.

The VRX1 operates in the VHF 192-217 MHz frequency range and is pre-programmed with 10 standard channels for rapid installation:

Pre-programmed channels can be reconfigured using the optional Zaxcom GUI Bridge (ZGB).


COMPATIBILITY

The VRX1 is compatible with Comtek VHF FM analog transmitters operating on 192-217 MHz. This allows you to combine the VRX1 with other Comtek IFB receivers connected to the same transmitter.

OPERATION, VOICE MESSAGES AND VOTING

Front-panel A/B and * buttons control settings and can be programmed to limit control or disabled altogether.Voice prompts announce current channel selection, battery life and other key parameters via headphones.

Voice prompts can also adjust key parameters, enabling seamless interaction without having to look at the device. Voting enables the VRX1 to automatically connect to the signal of the strongest transmitter when multiple transmitters are in use. Voice prompts and voting can be disabled.
